Position Summary

 

The IT Specialist supports, maintains, and enhances the company’s technology infrastructure and systems used in mortgage origination, processing, underwriting, and servicing. This role ensures secure, efficient, and reliable IT operations, provides technical support to staff, and assists in implementing technology solutions that improve productivity and compliance within the mortgage industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Technical Support & Maintenance

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for all company users (hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues).

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access within systems such as Encompass, Calyx, LOS platforms, CRM, and Office 365.

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, VoIP systems, and mobile devices.

Responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the laboratory information systems and related digital workflows. This role bridges laboratory operations, information technology, and quality management, ensuring that all laboratory data systems function efficiently, securely, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

My job serves as a key liaison between laboratory staff, IT departments, instrument vendors, and hospital or institutional information systems teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. System Administration and Support

  • Manage and maintain the Laboratory Information System (LIS), middleware, and interfaces with electronic medical records (EMRs), instruments, and other data systems.

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate technical resolutions with vendors and internal IT teams.

  • Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patches for LIS and related applications.

2. Workflow Design and Optimization

  • Analyze laboratory workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement IT-based improvements.

1. Technical Support & Maintenance

The CloudSuite Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, configuration, and support of the organization’s Infor CloudSuite environment. This includes user management, system configuration, performance monitoring, integrations, security, and ensuring system reliability and compliance with company policies and best practices.
